About Me
My journalism journey began on the sidelines of SEC football with ESPN, capturing the sounds of the game with a parabolic microphone that brought viewers closer to the action. That experience taught me how to anticipate moments and stay sharp under pressure, both skills that have shaped every step of my career.
After graduating early from Ole Miss, I took my first on-air role in South Carolina before moving to Birmingham where I covered deadly tornadoes and led reporting on healthcare access in Alabama’s Black Belt region during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since then, I've reported in Tampa, Los Angeles and Atlanta where I've covered some of the biggest stories impacting people locally and nationally.
